Crime Victim Compensation Program

These programs have been established in every state to help crime victims cope with a variety of crime-related expenses such as medical costs, mental health counseling, lost wages, or funeral and burial costs. Victim Services Program

The program serves as a point of contact for the victim, witness and concerned citizens to the Department of Corrections, and notifies enrollees when offenders convicted of violent, sex, felony harassment and serious drug crimes move through the prison system and into the community. Washington Statewide Victim Information and Notification Service

The program provides assistance to victims of all crimes and will notify you if an offender is in custody and will give you other important custody information. You are also able to leave a phone number where you want to be called automatically when that offender is released, transferred, escapes or dies.
